WHAT: Comcast California will meet with job seekers who are interested in working out in the field as Residential Direct Sales Representatives for our San Rafael, Rohnert Park and Fairfield offices with territories in the surrounding counties.

WHY: As Comcast California expands its offerings, including Xfinity Cable/Video, Digital Cable, High-Speed Internet and Comcast Digital Telephone/Voice, it also is expanding its field staff to ensure a high level of customer service in one of the company’s premier markets. Comcast is seeking enthusiastic job seekers at the job fair on Thursday, Feb. 23rd, to fill Residential Direct Sales Representative positions within the organization. 

ADDITIONAL INFO: The role of the Residential Direct Sales Representative is to sell Comcast's products and services (cable, internet & telephone) to residential subscribers in an assigned territory and up-sell current Comcast customers. The primary mode of solicitation is through neighborhood canvassing and door to door (face to face) contact with existing and prospective customers. Applicants should possess the following minimum qualifications: HS Diploma or GED; preferred six months of outside sales with experience achieving and exceeding sales quota goals and excellent verbal communications skills, coupled with a clean driving record and the ability to work Tuesday-Saturday 10:00-7:00.

Job seekers may register starting at 12:30 and will have the opportunity to listen to a Job Overview presentation regarding Comcast’s Residential Sales Representative position. Job seekers will also have a chance to interview on the same day.
