Special Thanks to Golis Park Adopt-A-Park Volunteers

Have you checked out Golis Park lately? Golis Park has been looking fantastic, thanks to the efforts of the “Best Friends Canine Club” and the “G-Park Guardians” groups! We want to extend special thanks and acknowledgement to these groups for going above and beyond in beautifying our community.

The “Best Friends Canine Club” and the “G-Park Guardians” volunteered to adopt Golis Park through the City’s Adopt-A-Park program. These groups have dedicated their time and efforts to assist in operating, maintaining and improving Golis Park. Their services have included planting flowers, weeding, and clean up/fix-up days, to name a few.

The Adopt-A-Park program allows neighborhood organizations, civic and church groups, scout troops, businesses, schools, families and individuals to dedicate their time, talents and treasures to the maintenance and development of Rohnert Park’s unique park system.  The “Best Friends Canine Club” and “G-Park Guardians” have done an amazing job keeping Golis Park attractive, healthy, and safe; you have made a difference!

Just last week a work crew made significant repairs/ improvements to the bridge. Ongoing volunteers have trimmed bushes, weeded planters and added bright spots of flowers throughout the seasons. Thank you all!
