Who is Rohnert Park's Person of the Year?

Who deserves to be recognized as Rohnert Park or Cotati's person of the year?
If you know someone or a group of people who made our city a better place over the past year, contributed time and effort to various causes or even made a personal impact on you, nominate him, her or the group (such as a nonprofit) here.
So far we've had only one nomination, from Chet Laws (see commentes below). "Jennifer Miller Wiltermood is deserving of this recognition. Her tireless efforts on both the PTA and RP's 50th Anniversary Celebration are worthy of receiving The Person of The Year award."
Add your own nomination and comment to this story by Dec. 31. Back up your recommendation by including several reasons why that nominee is deserving. We'll compile the nominees and ask readers who they think should win. After a Person of the Year is selected, we'll will run a story about the winner.
You may nominate yourself, someone you've worked with or even someone you've just read about that might deserve this recognition. Any questions? Email me at angela.hart@patch.com.

And another:
-Jen is an excellent choice, and very deserving of this recognition. I also think little Callie would make an excellent choice for person of the year. She brought the community together and cultivated a place within our community and hearts that few (if any) Rohnert Park residents have ever achieved. She opened the doors for discussions about how to keep our children safe. She brought about discussions of distracted driving, and made all of us aware of the dangers of texting and driving. In a few short years of life she touched every single family and individual in our community, and affected a positive change from a terrible tragedy. Callie moved something in all of us and will have a lasting impact on our community. Her sweet life was cut too short and left a hole in all of us, while binding us together in a new awareness. She left behind a heart broken father who publicly acknowedge he would in time forgive the teen driver for Callie, and allow our community to heal from this tragedy. We discovered how strong we were and how we could come together for one of our own. Callie taught us so much of peace, togetherness, community, forgiveness, strength and to remember to love our family's everyday.

Jennifer has received a lot of support for this nomination - for all she does for the community. Here are a few comments, via a Facebook group dedicated to CRUPSD:
-Jennifer Miller Wiltermood is a tireless advocate for our community; especially for our children!
-What I like most about Jen is that even though she is so involved, and knows so much about what happens in our community, she never makes her fellow volunteers feel like they are less involved or important than she is. In fact, she pulls people in with her appreciative nature. She is the ultimate in team players. She really deserves to be recognized!
